Legalize It! The Genesis of Gold Newsletter
Fergus Hodgson, 10 August 2016
Brien Lundin joins me for the debut podcast episode. He shares the history of Gold Newsletter, how he got involved, and why precious metals remain as relevant as ever. Further, he weighs in on how young people can enter the market and build their own investment portfolios.
In particular, we address the significance of Jim Blanchard’s life, as the founder of the publication and the New Orleans Investment Conference. Blanchard employed civil disobedience and creative activism to mock and embarrass the US federal government, including a plane that flew over Richard Nixon’s inauguration.
