Puerto Rico: Tax Haven or Economic Disaster?
Fergus Hodgson, 27 January 2017
While Puerto Rico is losing population big time, some people are going there for tax advantages over the US mainland. What is the truth about the economic status and future of the island?
Our guests are Frank Worley, who now lives in Mississippi, and Albert Soutomaior, who remains on the island in Mayagüez. Worley was co-founder of the original Libertarian Party of Puerto Rico and is founder of MIRE (Movimiento Independentista Republicano). Soutomaior writes policy for the Libertarian Party of Puerto Rico and is one of the co-founders of the Institute for Human Freedom.
