We’ve seen incredible volatility in all the financial markets lately, as the Fed seems determined to attempt to raise rates next month.

Stocks, bonds, the Dollar Index, crypto, the metals and commodities in general are being pushed around as rarely before, in both directions.
Today, the U.S. stock market is generally down moderately, in a rare moment of calm. However, gold, silver and even crypto are jumping higher.
How to make sense of all of this?
Perhaps it’s simply not possible, and our only option is to just wait it out until the Fed finally pulls the trigger.
Frankly, that’s my advice in regard to the metals, as the record shows they’ll start to rally once the rate hike program begins.
But we must also recognize that asset values in other markets are still near record highs, and bubbles like these are dangerous not only to investors but the entire global financial system.
