| There’s a reason exploration companies covet ground in Argentina’s Deseado Massif.
| The district has produced more than 20 million ounces of gold and 600 million ounces of silver since 1990, including Newmont’s Cerro Negro and Hochschild’s San José.
And Daura Gold Corp. (DGC.V; DGCOF.OTC) holds an option to earn up to 80% of two projects sitting squarely inside it.
| A Large Epithermal System...Confirmed
| Daura’s first-ever drill program at its Cerro Bayo project — 18 holes across 1,850 meters — returned assays in May, confirming a large, high-grade epithermal system.
| Hole CBD26-005 returned 15.00 meters at 1.90 g/t gold-equivalent (0.07 g/t gold, 120.8 g/t silver) from 58.7 meters, including....
2.00 meters at 0.11 g/t gold and 427.4 g/t silver (6.6 g/t gold-equivalent) from 63.70 meters, and...
3.60 meters at 6.08 g/t gold-equivalent (0.18 g/t gold, 389.88 g/t silver) from 86.4 meters, including 1.80 meters at 0.33 g/t gold and 739.53 g/t silver (11.53 g/t gold-equivalent) from 86.40 meters.
| Hole CBD26-012 returned 11.95 meters at 2.1 g/t gold-equivalent (2.0 g/t gold, 6.8 g/t silver) from 11.45 meters, including 1.95 meters at 8.83 g/t gold and 18.86 g/t silver (9.1 g/t gold-equivalent) from 17.15 meters.
| Both holes sat within broader zones of near-surface silver — 43.1 meters at 44.3 g/t silver in one hole, 34.1 meters at 23.2 g/t silver in another.
Management describes the underlying hydrothermal field as spanning more than 400 square kilometers of the Deseado Massif — and Phase One has so far tested only a fraction of it.
| A Second Target With Its Own Bonanza Sample
| Weeks later, Daura was back with news from La Flora, a second high-grade target 16 kilometers away.
| Surface sampling returned visible gold grading 63.88 g/t gold and 175.34 g/t silver, part of a 100-meter-wide vein array within a system that outcrops for more than a kilometer. Drill permits are now submitted.
| That sets up the moment every exploration investor waits for: Phase Two, testing both Cerro Bayo and La Flora in the same campaign, is now planned.
| Two Countries,
One Overlooked Opportunity
| Argentina isn’t the whole story, either.
In Peru’s Ancash region, Daura controls more than 18,000 hectares surrounding Highlander Silver’s San Luis Project, part of a deposit ranked among the 10 highest-grade gold-silver discoveries in the world — and historic drilling on Daura’s adjacent Antonella-Libelulas ground has already intersected the same high-grade style of mineralization.
So why isn’t more of the market watching this story yet?
With drill assays already confirming the Cerro Bayo system, a second bonanza-grade target queued up at La Flora, and a Peruvian land package bordering one of the world’s highest-grade gold-silver discoveries, Daura is advancing multiple paths to discovery at once.
| The best part for potential shareholders? The market has not yet fully priced in what a single successful round of Phase Two results could mean for the story.
| The time to look into Daura Gold Corp. is before the drills start turning again. And that’s now.
