Society is organized around financial systems, and when they’re stable and orderly, for the most part, so is society.
When things are stable, hard-working people can go about the business of earning their living and building their fortunes.
But every once in a while, financial systems become highly unstable. Sometimes, they even completely overload and need to be re-set.
The pace of change in today’s world is accelerating ... driven by a growing population competing for resources on a finite planet, technology driving innovation at a compounding rate, and the inevitable resistance by those whose power resides in the status quo.
It’s reasonable to suspect a relatively major reset is likely in the not-so-distant future.
