Granted, it’s still relatively early in the 21st Century.
That said, we’re experiencing one of the largest and most profitable gold rushes in this century. It’s happening in Newfoundland, where fortunes are being made at this very moment.
The good news: It’s not too late to get in “early”...because one of the largest and best land positions in the entire play was put together by legendary prospector Shawn Ryan.
And the story of how it came to be is fascinating — and potentially very profitable for those who can take notice now.

The First Gold Rush Of The 21st Century
Newfoundland, a Canadian island on the northeastern corner of North America, is shaping up as the epicenter of the first gold rush of the 21st century.
Because of its unique geology, Newfoundland has long been recognized as a major source of industrial metals like iron, copper, zinc and lead.
Until recently, Newfoundland’s gold mines have been relatively small and inefficient, causing them to open and close depending on the price of the yellow metal. When gold prices were high, the mines could operate profitably. But when gold prices dropped, the mines became unprofitable and were forced to shut down.
Although the province didn’t produce an abundance of gold, it did accumulate a wealth of information about gold deposits.
Much of the research was done by the Canadian government, both federal and provincial. For example, the Geological Survey of Canada (a government agency similar to the U.S. Department of the Interior) combined its proprietary research with data supplied by private companies to create the map shown.

Of course, what we know about the island’s geology suggests the gold deposits shown on the map represent only a tiny fraction of Newfoundland’s hidden wealth. And that was recently proven by a company aptly named New Found Gold…
The Gold Strike That Handed Shareholders An 800% Return!
After the island’s last gold mine shut down, things remained quiet for years until a company called New Found Gold began exploring a site approximately nine miles west of the town of Gander.
New Found’s first drill hole revealed gold concentrations of 92.9 grams per ton. Subsequent holes disclosed even higher grades, including 150.3 g/t and an off-the-charts 430.2 g/t.
Understandably, New Found’s discovery generated a lot of buzz in the mining industry.
It also made a lot of money for New Found’s shareholders. The company’s shares soared from $1.50 to $13.50, handing investors an 800% return in about a year.

The World’s Best Prospector Finds Even More Gold
Just a few miles (right next door in geological terms) from New Found’s gold-rich property, famed prospector Shawn Ryan has uncovered gold showings that could turn out to be the next big discovery.

This new target is on property that’s part of the massive land position — 377,631 acres (590 square miles) of mining claims — that Leocor Gold has assembled based on Mr. Ryan’s research.
That’s an area approximately twice the size of New York City.
The fact is, Leocor has tied up a huge swath of property where we know for certain that gold has already been found.
But what makes this property position even more valuable is the fact that large sections of it have never been explored before. And with Mr. Ryan’s proven expertise, Leocor appears to be well on its way to making the next big discovery.
You see, people in the mining industry use words like “legendary” when talking about Shawn Ryan. That’s because he’s widely regarded as one of the most successful prospectors of all time.
He’s best known for discovering billions of dollars-worth of gold in the Yukon. But he thinks Newfoundland is likely to produce even more gold than the Yukon.
Mr. Ryan’s success is attributable to old-fashioned, exhaustive research...and the use of space-age technology.
How Detective Work Found Gold That Was Hiding In Plain Sight
Shortly after arriving in Newfoundland, Mr. Ryan hunted down a research paper written years ago by a gentleman named Klassen. That paper proved that much of the island’s gold was buried deeper than the test holes customarily used in the mining industry.
Based on that overlooked research, Mr. Ryan began digging deeper test holes and discovered previously unknown gold deposits that other searchers had missed.
But how does Shawn decide where to dig those test holes? Well, that’s where technology comes into play…

To a travel agent, Gabbro is a quaint, little village in Italy. To a geologist, it’s a magnetic rock named after that Italian town.
...And to a prospector, gabbro rocks are the key to finding gold.
You see, gabbro is a type of igneous rock. As you probably remember from your high school science classes, igneous rocks are formed when hot, molten rock (magma) crystallizes and solidifies. Igneous rocks form deep within the earth, near plate boundaries.
Newfoundland’s unique geology is the result of continental movements that took place over millions of years. The geological forces that slammed land masses together and ripped continents apart forced gabbro rocks up to the surface.
As the gabbro rocks traveled from the earth’s mantle toward the surface, they brought along a huge quantity of gold. By locating gabbro rocks on Leocor’s property Shawn Ryan has been able to pinpoint gold deposits that could dwarf those he uncovered in the Yukon
This is obviously an oversimplification of how Mr. Ryan works his magic — but you can discover the entire story in a fascinating new report.
