| | | The Next Red Lake?
| | The Red Lake gold district in northwest Ontario is one of the highest-grade and most productive gold mining areas in history.
Now, newly listed Dryden Gold (DRY.V) sees similarities to Red Lake in its recently consolidated Dryden Gold project, which lies to the south in northwest Ontario.
With drill results pending and with the price of gold breaking out… now is the time to take a close look at the Dryden Gold story.
| | | Thirty million ounces of gold.
| That’s how much of the yellow metal that the Red Lake gold district along the Birch-Uchi Greenstone Belt has produced.
The Red Lake mine itself proved to be spectacularly rich...and to get even richer with depth.
| But imagine if you could turn back the clock 30 years and buy into the Red Lake mine before its discovery.
| You may well have that opportunity with Dryden Gold (DRY.V), a previously private gold exploration company that just started trading publicly in January.
The company has come to life after two years as a private company, time that it spent consolidating the area along the Manitou-Dinorwic deformation zone that has hosted small but high-grade gold mines from the turn of the 20th century.
As you’re about to see, Dryden’s geologists see similarities between its 600-square-kilometer land position and both the legendary Red Lake and Timmins camps in Ontario.
| Phase 4 drilling has been completed and assays are in the lab as we speak on a program to delineate additional high-grade gold in the historic Gold Rock Camp within its larger Dryden Gold property.
| This is your chance to look at getting in on Dryden Gold before the next assays hit the newswires.
| A Strategic Land Package
| Key to the Dryden Gold story is its consolidation of an historic gold district that has had fragmented ownership.
The company’s 600 square kilometers of property span fully 50 kilometers of the Manitou-Dinorwic deformation zone. It’s an active district with Kinross, Treasury Metals, Kenorland Minerals and Dynasty Gold working projects in the area.
| This isn’t some far-flung exploration frontier needing helicopter support. Located near the town of Dryden, Ontario, the Dryden Gold project is transected by the Trans-Canada Highway and has access to logging roads, power lines and a nearby labor force.
| As mentioned, the project has been home to high-grade, but relatively small mines over its history. It has seen only limited modern exploration with 33,200 meters of historic drilling on Dryden Gold’s property, and most of that at shallow depths.
| Known For Uber-High-Grade Gold
| Past operators have encountered uber-high-grade assays from the Gold Rock Camp, including a bonanza grade hit on the Kenwest Patents grading 3,497.0 g/t gold over 8.5 meters, including 53,700 g/t gold over 0.55 meters.
| Other assays of note on the Gold Rock Camp include 15.4 g/t gold over 6.1 meters, 12.7 g/t gold over 4.0 meters and 12.6 g/t gold over 4.0 meters. In addition, the recently acquired Cross River property has a mine that once generated 0.94 ounce-per-ton ore.
| The Gold Rock Camp portion of the project alone covers 20 kilometers of strike along the Manitou-Dinorwic deformation zone and the majority of historic drilling has focused there. In addition, over 75% of all mining occurred there.
| | Powerful Similarities To Red Lake
| The Dryden Gold team was drawn to this section of northern Ontario because of its similarities to the prolific Red Lake district.
| Like Red Lake, it has similar geology and rock types accompanied by regional folding, and offers near-surface, high-grade free gold in an Archean setting.
| The structural geometry of the project’s key structures compares favorably with Red Lake and both have favorable geological gold traps to create high-grade shoots.
And, indeed, it is near-surface, high-grade shoots that Dryden Gold is drill testing at the Gold Rock Camp.
| Early Success With The Drill Bit
| The current drilling program on the Gold Rock Camp began in November 2023, before Dryden Gold had gone public.
| Dryden Gold has already released assays from the first 1,600 meters of drilling on the camp, and they were quite impressive, identifying three new high-grade shoots and verifying the continuity of others.
| The new high-grade shoots were encountered by Hole 23-009A (26.1 g/t gold over 3.2 meters), Hole 23-010 (3.7 g/t gold over 6.0 meters) and Hole 23-016 (3.81 g/t gold over 7.0 meters). These holes hit these high-grade shoots along the BM1 and BM2 structures at the Gold Rock Camp.
The drills at Gold Rock have just finished turning and Dryden Gold recently released results were on the parallel Elora structure some 400 meters to the west of BM1. Hole 24-008 intercepted 14.10 g/t gold over 7.54 meters including 43.81 g/t gold over 1.42 meters and 92.10 g/t gold over 0.30 meters.
| District-Scale Potential
| With the drills still hitting high-grade intercepts near surface and more assays on the way, Dryden Gold is hitting the ground running as a public company.
| Backed by industry heavy hitters like Rob McEwen, Eric Sprott, Adrian Day and Alamos Gold, Dryden Gold is held by steady hands who see the district-scale potential of the Dryden Gold project.
| The company should have a series of news releases over the next several weeks. Given the high grades that have come from initial drilling, more high-grade assays would appear to be imminent.
In short, the timing is critical. If you want to place a wager on Dryden Gold to generate more high-grade hits, the time to start doing your research on the company is now.
