Timing Is Everything

Western traders — and the calendar — have created a remarkable opportunity in metals and mining.

July 20, 2026

Dear Fellow Investor,

As gold and silver bugs, we live in our own little bubble.

That may have been my biggest take-away from the Rule Natural Resource Symposium earlier this month.

For the record, this was a spectacular event, and I’m very happy for my long-time friend (and friendly competitor)...as well as every investor who experienced this gathering.

I promote Rick’s conference almost as much as my own because it fits my business model: Give our followers access to the best value available, and lots of it, and everything else will fall into place.

That’s why so many of our New Orleans Conference attendees can be found at Rick’s conference, and vice versa.

The fact is, gold and silver bugs are part of a community of forward-thinkers, and both are must-attend events for members of that community.

This community is wonderful for exchanging ideas, strategies and tips. But, again, we do sometimes find ourselves in an echo chamber.

That was evident at the Symposium. As I reported last week, the mood at the Symposium was as sunny as the Boca Raton weather outside the building.

Despite being in the depths of the first extended correction of this gold bull market, attendees were grinning and eager to take advantage of the bargains that it had created.

They held their gazes on the long-term fundamentals that virtually guarantee much higher prices for metals and miners over the long term
.

I completely agreed with that perspective, and indeed stressed it in my presentation and panel participation.

However, that view can obscure the fact that those outside our bubble — in this case the Western traders who are currently setting the metals prices — don’t recognize the same realities that we do.

I fall victim to this myself. As you remember, I noted that the drop in gold below $4,000 on June 24th — and the subsequent closes after that as the moving averages posted a “death cross” — had the air of capitulation about it.

I was smart enough to avoid actually calling a bottom, but the implication was clearly there.

Chart - Gold Spot / USD

Fast forward to last week, and we see that this bottom didn’t hold. Gold closed once again below $4,000 on a spot basis.

Gold recovered somewhat on Friday, and today silver is taking the lead with a nice bounce higher. And this leads us to the most important question....

Where now?

Again, no one knows. While some of the best technicians I know are now talking about levels around $3,700 on the downside, I won’t predict that...and my gut tells me it won’t happen. It is, however, something we need to be prepared for.

Those levels are possible only because the Western traders — sitting outside our bubble and blithely unconcerned about debts, deficits and the long-term devaluations that they make inevitable — are making lower metals prices a self-fulfilling prophecy.

However, as I also stressed in my presentation at Rick’s Symposium, the two factors that have corralled gold (the Iran War and the idea of a hawkish Fed) are temporary. Resolutions and realizations will come at some point, and either one will relaunch the metals bull run.

In other words, we don’t need capitulation from the gold bugs; we need capitulation from the Western traders. That can come in a flash — and will come eventually.

The time frame for all of this is the only question, which makes the current valuations for mining stocks up and down the food chain extraordinary bargains.

What To Do Now

The bottom line is that this correction, coinciding with the natural seasonal weakness in the metals, has created an exceptional buying opportunity.

In my experience, those who take advantage of this could enjoy a 30% or more jump on those who start buying junior mining stocks in September.

I strongly recommend that, if you have not already done so, you do two things to make sure you maximize your returns in the next big move in metals:

1)  Subscribe to Gold Newsletter now. Even in the midst of this correction, the cashed-up juniors in our portfolio have been making important news in recent days...and some high-profile drill programs are about to deliver results.

This is your chance to get on board before big drilling news and a general market rebound.

2)  Reserve your spot at New Orleans 2026. Our exhibit hall is already sold out and attendee registrations are flowing in at a pace not seen in decades. I fully expect that our hotel room block will sell out earlier than ever before and we’ll have to turn people away this year.

Don’t miss this opportunity. Our speaker roster is by far the best to be found anywhere, and the timing has literally never been better. Don’t miss our, and reserve your spot below.

It is times like this, when downside risk has been reduced and upside potential has been commensurately expanded, that veritable fortunes can be made in metals and mining.

I urge you to seize the opportunity.

All the best,
