| Shell Canada drilled a skarn system in northern British Columbia in the 1970s and confirmed a substantial deposit of scheelite, tungsten’s primary ore mineral.
| Despite the size of the project, tungsten wasn’t worth chasing hard enough to bring the claims back into serious exploration for decades afterward.
| That’s completely changed in today’s world: With an array of critical industrial and military applications, tungsten has become one of the hardest metals to source outside China.
In fact, since China tightened export controls, benchmark Western tungsten prices have surged more than five-fold, highlighting the urgency of developing secure sources outside China.
| Which has created an exceptional opportunity....
GoldHaven Resources Corp. (GOH.CSE; GHVNF.OTC; 4QS.FSE) saw that shift coming, and has spent the past year taking the Shell discovery all the way to the drill bit.
| The System That Was Found But Never Finished
| That property is now GoldHaven’s flagship Magno Project, which spans 37,204 hectares just south of the historic town of Cassiar, next to claims held by Cassiar Gold Corp and Coeur Mining’s Silvertip deposit.
| Shell Canada’s historical drilling at Kuhn totaled 17 diamond holes over 1,766 meters, with intervals including 13.0 meters at 0.55% WO₃ and 4.0 meters at 1.32% WO₃ with 0.26% MoS₂.
| Four modeled lenses from that work produced an historical estimate of roughly 616,500 tonnes at 0.48% WO₃. While historical estimates like this cannot be relied upon and still need to be confirmed to current standards, the grades that were encountered are exciting and promising.
Note: The historical estimate is considered historical in nature and should not be relied upon. A Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and GoldHaven is not treating it as current.
| Shell Canada’s prior drilling hit exciting tungsten mineralization, and GoldHaven is hoping to expand it with their imminent drilling.
| Success at Magno could establish GoldHaven as a leader in Canada's emerging tungsten exploration sector. History told them where to look, but GoldHaven took it upon themselves to show how much further it runs.
| The Samples That Changed The Picture...
| To build on that historical data, GoldHaven (GOH.CSE; GHVNF.OTC; 4QS.FSE) collected 357 rock samples across Magno last year.
The results confirmed that anomalous tungsten mineralization at Kuhn extends across roughly 1.3 kilometers of strike...with 32 samples returning more than 1,000 ppm tungsten within that corridor.
| The single highest value, 6,550 ppm tungsten, came from Vines Lake, a target with no prior tungsten history that is now added to GoldHaven’s target list.
| Tungsten wasn’t the only surprise. The same samples returned silver up to 2,370 g/t, zinc up to 19.25% and indium up to 334 ppm — among the highest indium values ever recorded in the district.
Indium carries its own scarcity story, essential to semiconductor and fiber-optic manufacturing, with China dominating its supply too.
That many metals turning up together is one thing. Knowing how they connect underground is another.
| From Scattered Showings To An Entire Mapped District
| The 2025 surface work pointed to where the system might connect, and GoldHaven (GOH.CSE; GHVNF.OTC; 4QS.FSE) quickly set out to confirm it.
| In July, the company completed and interpreted a 2,320.7 line-kilometer QMAGT survey, the largest modern geophysical program ever flown across Magno.
| It defined a continuous north-south structural corridor tying Kuhn together with the nearby Dead Goat tungsten zone and several other target areas across the property, including newly staked ground covering the Cassiar Moly molybdenum occurrence.
| GoldHaven’s recent surveying has detailed the structural corridor connecting many of its zones and set the targets for its upcoming drilling campaign.
| That corridor is exactly what the upcoming drill program is built to test.
| GoldHaven raised more than $9 million in 2026, with a significant portion earmarked to fund the Magno campaign, and has engaged Northtech Drilling for an initial 5,000- to 7,000-meter program across the newly defined targets.
| Mobilization is set to begin within weeks, and the assay results that follow could mark some of the most significant catalysts in GoldHaven’s story to date.
| Plus: Two Bonuses Beyond The Tungsten Story
| Magno’s tungsten story is the centerpiece, but it isn’t the whole picture. GoldHaven already holds assay results from a project in Brazil, and a third target is advancing in northwestern British Columbia.
| The company’s Copeçal Project covers 3,681 hectares in Brazil’s Juruena Gold Province, near names such as Rio Tinto, Anglo American and IAMGOLD.
| AngloGold Ashanti’s historical work there defined a gold-in-soil anomaly roughly six kilometers long, and GoldHaven has since drilled nine diamond holes over 1,085 meters, returning 39.0 meters at 0.11 g/t gold in bedrock at the West Target and zoned chalcopyrite, pyrite and bornite mineralization — the first bornite ever logged at Copeçal — at the East Target.
An independent geological review has confirmed the potential for a large-scale, structurally controlled hydrothermal system with clear vectors toward stronger mineralization, and a Phase II drill program is targeted for the third quarter of 2026.
Then there’s GoldHaven’s Three Guardsmen Project, spanning 16,234 hectares in northwestern British Columbia, in a geological setting the company compares to Hedley, BC, known for its gold skarns.
| A 2025 sampling program returned 25 samples above 1% copper at the Canadian Verdee and Mildred showings, including a peak of 15.85% copper, traced across malachite-stained skarn over more than a kilometer of strike.
| Then, this July, GoldHaven completed 3.9 kilometers of induced polarization surveying aimed at locating the system’s intrusive source.
Simply put, GoldHaven (GOH.CSE; GHVNF.OTC; 4QS.FSE) now has no less than three separate systems advancing at once: Magno’s drill program mobilizing within weeks...Copeçal’s Phase II targeted for the third quarter...and Three Guardsmen’s IP survey feeding the next round of target generation.
| Still Under The Radar
| How does an explorer with a fully funded flagship drill program, a second drill-tested project and a third advancing target still trade like a single-project junior?
| GoldHaven currently carries a market value of only about $15 million Canadian dollars — a valuation that has yet to catch up with three advancing projects and a critical minerals story tied to the global tungsten supply crunch.
| GoldHaven (GOH.CSE; GHVNF.OTC; 4QS.FSE) has defined the historic system, extended it with modern sampling, and closed the financing to test it. The rig is booked. Now it’s the drill’s turn.
In short, the time to look into GoldHaven is now.
