Dear Fellow Investor,
It’s happening. If you had any doubt that the next big run in gold is here, today’s action should wipe away the last shred of uncertainty.
Gold is soaring today, up well over $20 as I write. Silver has taken off as well, and the gold stocks are rocketing higher while the dollar and global stock markets are tanking.
Of course, today’s big moves are a direct response to China’s overnight decision to allow the yuan to drop below the critical 7.0 level to the dollar.
That’s not the best reason for a move in gold — we’d much rather see the price reacting to the kind of long-term monetary reasons that we’ve been tracking.
But it may not matter in the end: The “large commercials” are still maintaining their massive short positions in gold, but they’re definitely feeling tremendous pain after these latest spikes in the gold price.
If they’re forced to cover their short positions — adding additional, desperate buying in gold — the price of the metal could quickly catapult well over $1,500.
And our gold-related investments could quickly multiply in value.
