Dear Fellow Investor,
Lost in the recent Newfoundland gold rush is the fact that the region has been a critical minerals source for decades.
The Canadian province has a long and rich history of zinc and copper production, led by the massive Buchans mine.
This mine in central Newfoundland produced 16 million tonnes of 14.5% zinc, 7.6% lead, 1.33% copper, 1.26 g/t silver and 1.37 g/t gold between 1926 and 1984.
Much of the infrastructure that the gold companies in the central part of the province enjoy today is due to the Buchans deposit.
And as you’re about to see, there could be more such mines to come.
One reason: After trying its hand at Newfoundland gold exploration, Canterra Minerals (CTM.V; CTMCF.OTC) has elected to return to the province’s roots by acquiring five critical minerals projects.
The projects come with significant resources of their own, and they give Canterra the chance to capitalize on the global rush for critical minerals.
The company will get a big head start, using two terabytes of data that came with these projects to embark on a drill campaign to grow those resources significantly.
The result: Canterra makes for an inexpensive, high-potential play on critical minerals development and production in a region with a long history of base metals mining.

Newfoundland:
A History Of
Critical Minerals Production
As mentioned, the Buchans mine helped put Newfoundland on the map as a mining destination.
Another source of base metals production was the smaller but still rich Duck Pond mine owned by Teck. Between 2007 and 2015, the Duck Pond mine produced 4.1 million tonnes of 3.3% copper, 5.7% zinc, 0.9% lead, 59 g/t silver and 0.9 g/t gold.
Canterra’s Lemarchant critical minerals project lies along the same trend as Duck Pond and has the very real potential to rival Duck Pond in terms of scale.

Canterra Makes Some Well-Timed Acquisitions
With the rest of the market focused on gold properties, Canterra was able to snap up its five critical minerals projects fairly inexpensively.
Lemarchant, the largest of the resource-hosting projects that Canterra acquired last year, is one of five such projects, which also include Boomerang, Domino and Long Lake.
These projects boast a combined 1.5 billion pounds of zinc-equivalent material in the indicated category and 358 million pounds of zinc-equivalent in the inferred category.
Better yet, those collective resource totals are at grades that compare very favorably to Duck Pond.
And together they give Canterra the opportunity to quickly establish significant resource growth with targeted drilling.
The Next Duck Pond?
First up in that effort will be Lemarchant, a target that has seen 50,000 meters of drilling in 165 holes, identifying zones of alteration that suggest Canterra can use drilling to quickly expand its 950 million pounds of zinc equivalent.
Canterra has identified four high-priority targets that could expand the resource at Lemarchant. Highlight intervals from past drilling include 16 meters of 1.5% copper, 3.6% lead, 15.4% zinc, 84 g/t silver and 1.7 g/t gold, so drill results could deliver headlines.
With all-year road access, established infrastructure in place and all needed permits to explore its projects, Canterra is well-positioned to deliver growth via the drill bit at Lemarchant.
The Urgency:
Drills Are Turning Soon
Momentum is on Canterra’s side as it embarks on its first drill program at Lemarchant in September.
Again, these are not grassroots targets — these are projects with existing resources that have been completely overlooked in the Newfoundland gold rush.
That inattention is not universal, however.
Consider that the Canadian government is actively supporting the exploration and development of critical minerals projects, while funds and miners are investing in these projects at all stages of development.
If Canterra can use the data at hand to drill off a doubling of Lemarchant’s current resource, it would be a deposit of a scale that could easily attract a major.
And so, while other explorers in Newfoundland focus on the gold rush, Canterra Minerals boasts five critical minerals discoveries with established resources and a great chance to grow those resources.
It’s a pivot that has the potential to deliver money-multiplying results for existing Canterra Minerals shareholders as results come in.
But the drills at Lemarchant will begin to turn soon, so the time is now to do your due diligence on this aggressive critical minerals explorer.
