Tariff Turmoil

Events over the last two trading sessions have sent the prices of gold and silver bouncing up, down and all around.

It’s all related to the confusion over tariffs on gold imported from Switzerland. As of Thursday those tariffs were on, as of Friday they were a “misunderstanding” and as of now we’re awaiting final “clarification” (although President Trump has posted that there will be no tariffs on gold).
 

My view?

None of this matters a whit. Because gold and silver prices are headed much, much higher thanks to decades of overspending and debt creation that will force massive depreciation of the dollar and other currencies.

Gold and silver should multiply from current levels. And the truly exciting part is that mining stocks have yet to truly take off...spawning the kind of wealth-creation opportunity that we haven’t seen for a generation.
