| Not long ago, we introduced you to one of the most compelling setups in the junior resource space.
| The story centered on a multi-million-ounce gold-copper porphyry in Ecuador’s Zamora belt, built by the same team that founded Silvercorp Metals and trading at a dramatic discount to peers.
| Since that report, Auro Metals (AURO.V; AURFF.OTC) has released two more batches of drill results from its Phase 1 program at Santa Barbara — seven additional holes on top of the three that launched the story in June.
Here’s the upshot: Every single one of these holes hit wide, continuous gold-copper mineralization.
| The system is proving to be remarkably consistent, scalable and open across multiple directions — toward surface, at depth and along strike.
| The market recognized the growing size and significance of this story, and that was reflected in a tremendous surge in its share price — until just recently.
That’s because an unrelated market anomaly took Auro’s share price down considerably for what is likely a very short period of time. And that’s why you need to read on to see what this opportunity could mean for you….
| What The Drills Have Now Confirmed
| Batch by batch, the picture at Santa Barbara has come into sharper focus.
The first batch, released June 22, opened with a statement intercept: Hole 54 returned an amazing 705.7 meters grading 0.61 g/t gold and 0.10% copper from surface, including 235 meters at 0.97 g/t gold — and the hole ended in mineralization.
| For a porphyry system, that kind of continuous gold-copper interval starting at the very collar is a signal about scale that takes time for the market to fully absorb.
| The two other holes in that same batch confirmed the continuity…while the second batch, released July 13, pushed the story further — and deeper.
Hole 59 intersected a remarkable 625.12 meters grading 0.64 g/t gold and 0.10% copper starting from 81 meters, ending in mineralization at depth. That gold grade is roughly 23% above the inferred resource average.
The rest of the 10 holes drilled so far continued to build on the story. For example, Hole 60 intersected 542 meters grading 0.60 g/t gold and 0.12% copper — with mineralization continuing right to the end of the 802-meter hole — and boasting a gold grade approximately 15% above the inferred resource average.
| The Phase 1 drill program has now tested Santa Barbara South across a broad footprint — and every hole has returned extraordinarily long intersections of gold-copper mineralization above the resource grade.
| Just 10 holes in so far…but 10 extraordinary hits. With each successive batch, the grade consistency across the full tested footprint of Santa Barbara continues to build into a compelling body of evidence.

| Santa Barbara:
Scale That Demands Attention
| For readers encountering this remarkable story for the first time, here’s the context:
| Santa Barbara sits in the Zamora Copper-Gold Belt in southeastern Ecuador — the same neighborhood with world-class deposits like Lundin Gold’s Fruta del Norte mine, the Mirador copper-gold mine and Solaris Resources’ Warintza deposit.
Over the past two years, that belt has seen over $1.5 billion in M&A activity, with major and state-owned acquirers targeting precisely the kind of large-scale, technically credible copper-gold porphyry that Auro controls.
The remaining inventory of such assets is finite — and Santa Barbara is one of them.
| It is a large-scale, NI 43-101-compliant gold-copper porphyry with an existing resource of 697,000 ounces of indicated gold at 0.73 g/t and 3.42 million ounces of inferred gold at 0.52 g/t.
Combined with copper, the total gold-equivalent resource is approximately 4.3 million ounces — and that’s all before the current and upcoming drill results have been incorporated.
| Auro’s Santa Barbara project lies in a string of giant deposits that have attracted $1.5 billion in M&A activity…and it now stands as one of the last remaining large resources available.
| That resource was built on just 56 holes over three decades of intermittent work, with no drilling at all since 2018. The deposit is open in every direction.
This Phase 1 drilling — a 10,000-meter infill program — is designed to convert inferred ounces to indicated and lay the technical foundation for a future resource update. Based on the first 10 holes, the program is delivering even more than expected.
| And Still More On The Way…
| So far, 19 Phase 1 holes have been completed, with only 10 having been reported.
| Nine holes are still on the way in the very near future…and each one represents a potential catalyst for the company’s market value.
| After Phase 1 wraps, Phase 2 steps out to extend the resource envelope — expanding laterally and at depth.
Then comes Phase 3 — testing identified exploration targets across the broader 55.3-square-kilometer land package outside the current resource envelope entirely, with the potential to reveal more mineralized centers.
| In short, Auro has three major phases of drilling not only planned, but fully funded and ready to execute sequentially.
| This company is not running out of news flow anytime soon.
| The Team That Can Take This All The Way
| None of this would carry the same weight without the right team in place.
Auro is built by the same individuals who founded and grew Silvercorp Metals from a grassroots explorer into one of today’s most consistently profitable silver-gold producers — a company that went from junior to multi-mine producer generating consistent free cash flow and dividend payments.
| Exploration to discovery to resource definition to production — the Auro team has done it before, and they are applying that same institutional playbook here.
| Dr. Rui Feng, founder of Silvercorp and New Pacific Metals, is the architect of this enterprise. CEO Victor Feng and technical director and Qualified Person Alex Zhang — both Silvercorp alumni — are executing on the ground in Ecuador.
This is the same institutional apparatus that built Silvercorp, now applied to a large-scale porphyry system with a defined multi-million-ounce resource, active drill rigs turning and incoming results that keep reinforcing the scale of what’s here.
| The Opportunity Right Now…
| So far: 10 holes…10 long intercepts gold-copper mineralization across the entire tested footprint of Santa Barbara. Here is what investors are looking at:
| ● Wide, continuous gold-copper mineralization confirmed across 10 consecutive drill holes…
● Headline intercepts of 705.7 meters and 625.12 meters — each ending in mineralization at depth…
● Higher-grade pockets including 235 meters at 0.97 g/t, 29.4 meters at 1.53 g/t and 36.5 meters at 1.25 g/t gold, all set to boost project economics…
● A system open toward surface, at depth and along strike in multiple directions…
● Nine holes still awaiting assay results from an ongoing four-rig program…
● An ongoing, fully funded three-phase drill program stretching well into 2027…
● A Silvercorp-pedigree team that has taken a junior company all the way through to producing mines.
| And all of this is on top of a 4.3-million-ounce gold-equivalent resource that was built on remarkably little drilling and has not yet been updated to reflect any of the current program’s results.
It’s easy to conclude that Auro’s market cap did not yet reflect the immense scale of what’s in the ground — or the potential of what the next nine holes and two additional drilling phases may reveal — when the company was trading at its highs a couple of weeks ago.
| But now the opportunity has amazingly gotten even better.
| You see, the financing completed when Auro announced the acquisition of the Santa Barbara project earlier this year became free trading in late July. With the shares trading well above that financing price, some early participants naturally chose to lock in profits.
Here’s the opportunity: That technical selling pressure — which has nothing to do with the fundamentals of the story — sent the share price dropping.
| So all of that value…a multi-million-ounce gold project that’s being aggressively grown via the drill bit right now…has been put “on sale.”
| The massive flow of results on the way seems set to change this valuation soon…making this the time for investors to look deeper into Auro’s exciting story.
