| It might seem like everyone believes Kevin Warsh when he says he won’t hesitate to raise rates.
|
| Well, everyone except one subset of investors: Those who keep buying gold.
|
| Because every time the newly installed Fed Chairman opens his mouth and lets loose another round of hawkish rhetoric, gold gets immediately sold off along with all other assets.
But then gold bounces right back.
|
| Case in point today, when stocks and bonds are selling off, Treasury yields are rising…yet spot gold is jumping $60 higher.
The fact is, there are times when rising yields are bearish for gold, like during tightening monetary policies or strong economic growth. But there are times when gold rises along with Treasury yields.
And those are times when investors are worried not just with the return on their assets, but the return of their assets.
|
| A Signal That Something Big Is Looming…
|
| I’ve often said that, of all the investment markets, gold and bonds are the most sensitive in predicting the future.
And now both are figuratively screaming that something is afoot.
|
| As you can see from the above chart tracking the 10-year Treasury yield against the gold price, along with the 20-day rolling correlation between the two, gold and yields have been rising together since late June.
The correlation just recently turned negative after Warsh’s recent hawkish comments sent yields higher and gold lower, but gold’s rebound today…along the 10-year’s surge to over 4.8% yield…is putting the two right back into lockstep.
|
| Frankly, this is the strongest signal the markets could deliver that there’s trouble ahead.
|
| I won’t get into the possibilities of what that might be, but suffice to say there are plenty of options — and the AI-fueled equity bubble leads the pack.
What I will do is tell you what you can do about it right now.
|
| The Best Of The Best,
In One Place,
At One Time…
|
| We know that today’s debt load and deficit trajectory means that the dollar’s purchasing power has to be diminished significantly over the years just ahead. We also know that other fiat currencies are in the same boat.
We know that there are tremendous excesses in equity valuations right now, and that this will eventually get resolved in violent fashion.
We know that metals and miners are in a bull market that will take price levels far higher over the months to come.
|
| And knowing all this…we know that the most profitable place to be is the New Orleans Investment Conference.
|
| I hope you don’t mind me mentioning this again, but there are urgent reasons why I have to do it now.
I need to stress that we’re bringing together the biggest and best roster of independent thinkers you’ll find anywhere, including:
|
| Grant Williams…Doug Casey…Danielle DiMartino Booth…Brent Johnson…Dominic Frisby…Peter Boockvar…Jim Iuorio…Peter Schiff…Adrian Day…Tavi Costa…George Gammon…Russell Gray…Robert Helms…Porter Stansberry...Adam Taggart…
...Mark Skousen…Frank Giustra…Bob Prechter…Dave Collum…Nick Hodge…Don Durrett…Brent Cook…Lobo Tiggre…Jeff Clark…Jeff Phillips…Alasdair Macleod…Albert Lu…Jennifer Shaigec…Chris Powell…Kerry Stevenson…Dana Samuelson…Craig Hemke…Daniela Cambone…Rich Checkan…Gerardo Del Real…Pamela Aden…Omar Ayales…JP Cortez…Steve Hochberg…
|
| ...And. of course, I’ll take the podium to give you my latest thoughts, predictions and picks.
As I’ve said a lot lately, I’ll grant that you might find three or four of our speakers at other conferences. But you won’t find 40!
|
| Here’s the other thing: Over five decades of documented experience shows that serious investors simply can’t afford to miss the New Orleans Conference when metals and miners are running like they are now.
Unlike other events, you won’t be pitched from our General Session stage. These experts will not only give you their unbiased views on where the macro and the markets are headed, and why, they’ll also give you sound, actionable ideas on what to do.
|
| And a lot of them will give you their top stock picks in junior miners — insights that alone could be worth hundreds of times the cost of attending New Orleans ’26.
|
| Once again, our business model is built on providing more value than any other event, and that’s the foundation on which our money-back guarantee is built.
And now here’s the reason why I have to deliver this message today:
|
| If you want to benefit from this blockbuster event...coming at such a crucial time in the markets...you’ll need to act now.
|
| Registrations for New Orleans ’26 are flowing in at a rate we haven’t seen in decades. Our exhibit hall is already sold out, and our room block in our convenient host hotel is also set to sell out soon.
So again, I urge you to click on the link below to learn more, and to lock in your spot in New Orleans this year. You’ll not only guarantee you’ll be able to attend, but you’ll save hundreds of dollars in registration fees.
But none of that is guaranteed if you don’t act now.

| CONFERENCE COUNTDOWN: 49 DAYS TO NEW ORLEANS
After years of everyone talking about looming shortages, grid demand, electrification, AI, data centers and chronic underinvestment, the metal surged above $14,700 per tonne this week, setting a new all-time high.
Which brings me back some of the copper talk from last year’s New Orleans Investment Conference.
Lobo Tiggre gets credit for being the most direct. Every year, Lobo gives the New Orleans audience his highest-confidence trade for the year ahead. For 2026, he was pretty clear:
“I think the one I have the highest confidence doing well for investors in ‘26 is again copper.”
His reasoning went beyond AI, EVs or any single demand story:
“It’s an extreme bull case anyway because it’s structurally constrained on the supply side.”
And he concluded:
“If my task is to pick my highest confidence trade for 2026, it’s got to be copper.”
But Lobo was hardly alone. When Rick Rule asked our Mining Share Panel where we were putting our own money, I told him:
“I don’t think you can go wrong with copper if you play it right, if you look at it as a set it and forget it kind of a play.”
Jordan Roy-Byrne said he was “sniffing around copper because of the technical setup,” while also seeing opportunity in oil and gas. And Omar Ayales went a step further, telling attendees he was deploying capital into “very cheap copper and energy companies” and expected industrial resources to show better performance over the following year.
Well...here we are.
Copper is at a record high, and the broader resource trade is increasingly coming alive.
That’s just one example of how the New Orleans Conference covers far more than one market or one metal. And in just 49 days, we’ll bring the experts back together to identify what comes next.
