Bitcoin turned 11 years old on January 3, 2020. It continues to be the world’s most famous cryptocurrency, but many roadblocks to its widespread adoption remain.
Price volatility is one limitation that new competitors called stablecoins are trying to solve, explains Demelza Hays, editor of the Crypto Research Report and a university teacher in Liechtenstein.
