Cryptocurrency fanatic and 25-year-old daytrader Avery Jacobs is being treated for minor injuries that occurred after he leapt from his parent’s 1st story window following his loss of $65 on cryptocurrency.

When asked for comment, his mother reported she was shocked to learn her adult son had squandered his allowance investing in such a risky sector. She went on to call him irresponsible and said she hopes he’s learned his lesson.

While nobody saw the jump, neighbors reported hearing soft whimpering emanating from the bushes and could make out a few words, among them, “Coinbase,” “indicators,” and “Elon Musk.”

In a statement to the press, Jacobs says he feels betrayed by the YouTuber who promised viewers that the cryptocurrency he recommended was “awesome.”
