Typo Discovered In Press Release Read By Tens Of Investors

A press release from micro-cap mining company Silver Duck Resources, was discovered to contain a typo, after it had already been sent to tens of investors.

Executives began to panic as the day’s trading volume sky-rocketed to 200 and the company’s share price dropped $0.0035 on the OTC market.

After learning of the error, CEO Jonathan Plant issued a statement on Twitter, assuring presumably panicked investors that the company was “committed” not “comitted” to further drill testing.

The statement was well received, garnering three Twitter likes plus a share from Plant’s mother and the company stock recovered its losses, ending the day in the green at $0.0125.
